The tabernacle was burning all day, I think maybe even into the next day. Finally that evening Chris and I decided we were pretty dumb for not going right up to it to get a good look, so we did and took some pictures. It looked pretty crazy! And this wasn't even when the flames were the highest. I wish I'd taken pictures of it that morning.

The weekend before the wedding we went to Seattle/Tacoma/Chehalis/Adna areas for Chris's family open house. It was so beautiful there, and I have such good memories of this day. I had my own little room on the top floor, I got to sleep in, and Chris's mom made me oatmeal after I woke up. Then I went outside with Joe to see the horses and play with their dog Sunny. At first I was sad the horses were so wet, but they don't care! They never want to be in the barn where they can be dry.

Just got my rolls from NY developed! I forget the excitement of seeing pictures long after you take them, because I normally develop my film like a day after I shoot it.

We thought it was funny to go to Ground Zero and the Statue of Liberty for his birthday, and we thought we could just go right to the statue no prob, because everyone in the city complains about how dumb the statue is or something, but then we got there and it was super busy! and all sold out! chris was so mad he didn't even want to see Ground Zero anymore, haha

There's this great pink ice cream trunk here in NY in Nolita that sells the cutest ice creams, treats, and the couple who run it also have a super cute band called "Hearts Revolution."

Today its rainy in NY but I can hardly wait to eat at their little ice cream truck as soon as it warms up again.
